Rating - Email

We represent all aspects of rating matters in order to minimise clients' liabilities and are able to show success in this field.

This department is headed by Evelyn Flint DMS FRICS IRRV. Evelyn graduated in 1973 and in 1979 was appointed a Principal Valuer in a Central London office of the Valuation Office. She was the first female valuer to work in the Chief Valuer's office and during her tour of duty wrote many circulars and lectured on in house and DHSS courses.

She is primarily responsible for the rating work undertaken by the firm and has had over 26 years experience in this type of work. She has appeared before both the Valuation Tribunal, and its forerunner, the Local Valuation Court, on many occasions and the Lands Tribunal.

Appeals are therefore dealt with by a very experienced Rating Surveyor who surveys each property personally to ensure that she is aware of all the benefits and disadvantages of each hereditament

We are now taking instructions on behalf of all Clients in preparation to Appeal their Rates Revaluation. Delay in Appeals could be an expensive experience. Our fee policy here is "no win, no fee". Upon request, an extract from the Department of Environment 'Guide to the Revaluation of Business Rates' can be forwarded to you.
